Welcome, my friend!
You have stumbled (probably through no intentional fault of your own) upon the Blog of one of God’s oldest, oddest gnomes. Having little time at present to explain myself or the strange events that have launched me on my supernatural adventure, suffice it to say “’tis good to know you” and “Please make yourself at home whilst you are here.”You are now in the company of a friend so speak freely and rest easy. Good comes to those who rest their souls here. ‘Specially good things happen to those who leave comments.
And, now, an Old Irish Blessing:
Go raibh tú daibhir i mí-áidh
Agus saibhir i mbeannachtaí
Go mall ag déanamh namhaid, go luath a déanamh carad,
Ach saibhir nó daibhir, go mall nó go luath,
Nach raibh ach áthas agat
Ón lá seo amach.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings,
Slow to make enemies,
quick to make friends,
But rich or poor, quick or slow,
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
Now, if you don’t feel blessed, may you at least feel Irish! . . .and there’s blessing enough in that!

Hey, Pastor! You’ve been in our thoughts and prayers a lot! Rhonda bumped into your site and sent it to us today – so we just wanted to touch base and say we love you and STILL miss you!
We’re still in GA where we moved to about 13 years ago. God is so good and has been so faithful to us, that I am amazed at his daily and long term blessings! He has done a mighty and eternal work in our lives and marriage since we came to GA even though it was often painful, it has been more than worth the pains.
I’m inbetween jobs right now and doing volunteer and also some substitute for media and parapros in the public schools near here. Wally is working at a job that he’s had about 18 mo. He worked 5 years at In Touch and then they closed down his dept and let him and the whole crew go. I left there the next year to work in public schools closer to home. I felt like the Lord was leading me out of In Touch and into working in public schools. And it would not have been my choice for “public” schools, but as I was applying at some Christian schools near, He made it clear that He wanted me in public schools. Well, it’s a long and slow process and I’m having a hard time getting a full time job there, but am enjoying the volunteer work and sub work, but I’ve only had 2 and 1/2 days of sub work since the new school year started. I’d love to work at least 4 days a week or even 5 again.
How is all your family? I can’t believe how time has passed.
Love and prayers, Wally and Madeline
